OUR
ETHOS
At DBA Group, our name is more than just a label—it’s our DNA, our mission, and our unwavering promise. “DBA” stands for Do Better Academy; three powerful words that ignite our purpose and define everything we do.
Do better is more than a slogan; it’s a mindset—a way of life. We relentlessly pursue mastery, excellence, and growth—because stagnation isn’t an option. Whether refining strategies, analyzing financials, or strengthening client relationships, we always ask: What’s next? How can we do better? Every action is fueled by the desire to exceed expectations and redefine standards.
Academy represents our commitment to developing top-tier talent. Through our rigorous apprenticeship program, team members don’t just work—they train, push boundaries, and strive for mastery. We set Olympic-level standards, fostering a culture of resilience, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Welcome to DBA Group—where we train for greatness, so our clients can achieve theirs.
Don't practice until you get it right;
practice until you can't get it wrong.

FOUNDER
Dino Bilankov founded DBA Group in 2023, leveraging his extensive experience in corporate finance to deliver premier strategic finance services to venture-backed, PE-owned and founder-owned high-growth businesses. Since its inception, Dino has partnered with executives to address complex business challenges, providing strategic insights and financial solutions tailored to their growth objectives. His expertise spans strategic planning, financial analysis, and investor relations, with a focus on healthcare, technology, and private equity.
Prior to DBA Group, Dino served as Chief Financial Officer for UnitedHealthcare’s Southwest Markets, where he managed a $2.5 billion P&L across multiple states. Earlier in his career, Dino worked in corporate strategy and business development at UnitedHealthcare, leading strategic initiatives and M&A analyses across, at the time, the $250 billion enterprise. He also held roles in private equity at Diamond Castle Holdings and investment banking at RBC Capital Markets, gaining deep expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution.
Dino earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota, where he captained the Division 1 tennis team on a full athletic scholarship. He later completed his MBA at Harvard Business School. Dino is also an adjunct professor of finance, teaching courses on financial modeling and valuation at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and serves as an Entrepreneur-in-residence at the Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
When he’s not solving complex financial challenges, Dino enjoys playing tennis, practicing jiu jitsu, spending time outdoors with his family, and perfecting his guitar and piano skills. A former professional tennis player and top-ranked junior in Croatia, Dino brings the same discipline and drive to his work, delivering excellence and impact to every client he serves.
